Well I just got back from playing with the rifle.

And WOW....

Just with the stock internals and some little tweaks to it, she is shooting awsome. I ended up using .30's with the rifle, with about half hop. And was getting consistant 200+ hits. Of course the ghillie really helped. Spent alot of time watching the other guys walk around the base and see what they do.

With only 5 guys at the game not to much to write home about. But it was a good time none the less and a good learning experience for a fellow guy. Being as this was his first time playing airsoft at all. He learned really quick.

Good fun and the rifle was worth the build.




So what about a report on your rifle Vindi? Gotta move close to me so we can play a game or few together.

There are a couple of games that we go to in MN. As well as a few guys that come from MN to our side of the river to play.

What part of MN are you from Josh?



Can't wait to hear the report vindi.

Field was mid density woodland with lots of low and ground spindly branches plus ivy and holly bushes.

Accurate out to 50meters hitting a dinner plate size target every time. (site has a zone set up with measured distance tin plates at set distances 50 metres being the farthest)

Limits 350/ BA 400fps

Quiet as a mouse fart with suppressor and airbraked piston

Barrel needs to be changed for a better one, as when I polished it the other day I felt like there was high and low spots when moving the rod in and out, which did show on the groupings, will swap out one of my better barrels and see what appertains :)

Teflon Terry was playing today so i just wasn't feeling the love

Cure..... to much of a ******* hillbilly in me, so pulled out the shot gun and ran around with that from game 3 on, most fun had in a long while, with most kills in a long while, with biggest fatest shit eating grin in a long while........ F****D now though

LOL.

Yeah we have two rows of pine trees about 25 trees long. We play springs in there.... alot of 5-10 foot shots with the tripple barrel shotgun.

Glad you had some fun.

I to am thinking about getting another barrel for my bar10... just need to sell my MK96 to fund the parts....

My build-off gun:

Not much fun insides, but its fairly accurate. The internals are:

Systema 6.03
m120 (forgot what brand)
metal bushings
and INSANE shim job
madbull blue hop-up packing (best Ive used to date!)

I love it!

Vindi, I have to say that is the coolest looking gun I have ever seen. You did a great job with it. My friend has a g36 and was thinking of doing something like this. Great job with the externals, everything looks sick nasty :)

Fuzzy.... no it isn't the PDI hop up I wish that was the one I got to begin with. I have the Laylax AERO chamber...seeing either they don't make it anymore or I just plane got the wrong darn part.

Those are some really good looking pics you have. Great looking rifle as well. there are only a few better looking weapons than the SL8 and SL9.

Wasn't able to get any pics of mine, but she does work like a dream. Just need to get a better inner barrel for her and do some tweaks to the hop-up.

Still gotta come to a few of the games down here when you move and become a Kanuk.
