Bucking causing resistance on bolt cycle

Greetings,

I've just installed the maple lead diamond bucking into my action army chamber. once I put it all back together I noticed I was having moderate resistance on the bolt pull. my first thought was the bb retainers, but its actually the bucking.i can pull the air nozzle in and out with the bolt cycle but there is moderate resistance.

what are your thoughts ? I've also attacted a photo of my previous bucking in case the condition of that highlights something.

Dont think this is the case, I've done multiple tests and the bolt only gets stiff as it goes past the bb retainers and contacts the bucking. and from my old buck (photo attached) it almost looks like there is friction. like the air nozzle is to large but I cant see how that could be the case

Oh. By the way, I have seen the same wear marks on many Maple leaf buckings in a VSR. Most of the time, the buckings just wear in and over time become easy to cycle. I guess it is just a wear in period.

Same with mine. I was using an Action Army Masamune cylinder kit. It was kinda sticky on the bolt pull. What I did to reduce this was to smear a very very very thin dab of silicon oil on the cylinderhead and wiped it with toilet paper. It improved the "stickyness" and made the bolt pull easier.

That would be a good idea but you may put oil onto the nub. In saying this, once you have put the oil onto the bucking lips (not the nub), if you do wipe it absolutely clean then it may not matter. I can't see too much oil getting on the bb's if it has all been wiped off and what is left has soaked into the rubber.
To be honest, I have actually done this a couple of times and it did not effect the backspin and it did make it easier to cycle the bolt.

I have an autobot w/ a AA head and it works fine. It is slightly tight when you push the cylinder back in to load the bb but i think it is perfectly tight for a good seal but not too tight to strip the bucking.
