Don't worry about a kill flash on a bolty scope. You are better off getting a scope hood (Scope cover or whatever you want to call it. A round cylinder that goes over the end of the scope to stop glare). This will mean that your scope wont reflect sun light. It will also be a clearer picture too compared to a kill flash hider.
I have never had a sniper scope (so like a 3-9*40) shot out. The lenses are thick enough to take the hit. If it does get shot out then you are most likely within your MED or the person who shot you has a really, really powerful rifle and they are within there MED. My scopes have been shot many times by 600fps rifles and they have never broken.

As 1tonne said, you dont really need it. Its more of a security blanket. Flashkills do reduce the amount of light coming into the scope, so the image you see in the scope is a bit darker then it really is. This can be a problem on scopes with small diameters, (Like yours) when you use it in dark environments., like a heavily shaded forest.

So you think my scope is high enough quality, that I don’t need a scope protector?

I will look into a scope “hood”, thank you.

That is correct. You should not need a scope protector. I have never had a rifle scope shot out in all the years I have sniped.

Considering is a nitrogen charged AIM, its probably fine. Really depends on how much you like the scope and if your willing to put $150 optic on the line in the event we are wrong and it breaks the first time out with it. (I highly doubt it, but you never know.)

Ok.

It didn’t seem right to be either. It’s a size a bit bigger than a quarter on mine. So unless you have some crazy accuracy, good luck.👍

Also, are these the best gloves for sniping?https://www.amazon.com/Mechanix-FastFit-Coyote-Gloves-Large/dp/B077C2ZTF7/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=Mechanix+Wear:+FastFit+Coyote+Tactical+Work+Gloves&qid=1615836640&s=hi&sr=1-2

(Looking for something thin but durable)

There is no definitive best glove.
I go for bicycle gloves without much padding because I'm usually at a long enough range that it doesn't hurt when I get shot and I like how flexible they are.
One thing I do to all my airsofting gloves is cut a groove on the bottom of the index finger of one of the gloves at the second knuckle.
It's usually not noticeable, but when I need to adjust the hopup, it makes it much much easier. It basically allows me to fold the finger of the glove backward and pop out my naked finger letting me get into small gaps with it.
It can be seen on this glove for example.

I definitely like the idea of that. Trying to remove magazines with gloves on is impossible... 🙄

I think I may go with the Mechanix FastFit because they are highly rated for airsoft. (I’ll just cut a strip and sew the material to keep from fraying)

Which would be a better color for my environment: The Woodland Camo? Or the Coyote Brown?

Woodland:https://www.amazon.com/Mechanix-Fas...hanix+Wear:+FastFit+Coyote+Tactical+Work+Gloves&qid=1615836640&s=hi&sr=1-2&th=1

(Coyote is above)

I use full fingered gloves and cut the end of the index finger and the thumb off. Makes it easy to load mags, pull mags out and change hopup.

I really like these
I have them in Coyote and they are really comfortable, and I can even load magazines by hand if I have to.
Also touch screen compatible which it cool.
Interesting that they would be thin enough for mag reloads!

Someone said it above, but I’m not going to be that close to my enemy to need that kind of protection on my knuckles, so I will just stick with the FastFit.

I want to get this for my scope to protect it. Will it work with mine?Avengers 28mm Kill Flash / Scope Cover / Protector (Color: Black)

That’s it, I’m just going to make my own. The only 24 mm I could find were “custom” and cost $100+.
Wrap tape around the end of your scope until it fits.
Easy.

I think I’m going to stick with the brown gloves, not the multicam. The multicam works great in open fields and stuff, but not in a darkish forest.

Here is my shopping list:

-Mechanix FastFit Coyote (LG)
-Novritsch Low Profile Goggles (was hoping I wouldn’t need these, but those cheap safety glasses don’t fit well with the Meshmask)

-Possibly the SSG10 Camo cover
-Possibly the SSG10 Suppressor cover
-Possibly Novritsch leaves

Do you guys have any experience with the Novritsch leaves? Do they fall off easily? Are they worth it?

Ok, I’m going to purchase all of the above.

Already put around $750 in my sniper gear, not including the stuff I’m going to purchase. (Going to be $850+ after that)

Is that crazy? 🥲

Also, is it bad I don’t have a sidearm?
